Regional Management Gordon Cyr, Western U.S., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Greenland, Portugal Mr. Cyr graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He started in the drilling industry as a helper in 1967 and joined Midwest Drilling in 1971 as a field superintendent, becoming General Manager in 1975 and President in 1990. Mr. Cyr is past president of the Canadian Drilling Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of CAMESE. Daniel Lacharité, Quebec, Ontario, Atlantic Provinces, Maine, Venezuela, French Guiana Mr. Lacharite was employed by Dominik Drilling prior to its acquisition by the Company in 1981, and has been employed by the Company since. He is now the Regional Manager for the Company's operations in Quebec, Ontario, Atlantic Provinces, Maine, Venezuela and French Guiana. John Wells, Chile, Argentina Mr. Wells began his career in the mining industry with Harnischfeger Australia in 1981 as a Fitter and Turner. He joined the Major group with UDR Australia in 1996 and shortly thereafter became the Latin American Service Manager for UDR Chile. In 1999 he became General Manager of UDR Chile, a position which he held until late 2001 when he became Regional Manager of Major Drilling's Chile/Argentina operations. Rob Leibbrandt, Australia, Indonesia Mr. Leibbrandt comes from a marine engineering background, having completed training as a certified marine engineer at the South African Naval Engineering School in 1972. He entered the mining and earthmoving equipment industry in 1974, and after holding various technical and sales management positions, established his own business servicing the mining industry in South Africa and Namibia in 1985. After relocating to Australia he joined UDR in 1997, was appointed UDR Group General Manager in 1999 and Managing Director of Major Drilling Australia in 2001.
