William Lybrand was married to Pauline "Dee" Johnson Lybrand. I found only two children - Daniel Jacob and Lula. There are probably others. William Lybrand was born 1 Mar 1850 in Arkansas and died 17 April 1934 and is buried in Grapevine Cemetery along with his wife. In the 1920 Census he is living in Madison township with Pauline and their daughter Lula and Lula's daughter. Name illegible. Next door to the family is D. J. (Daniel Jacob). I believe Jacob and Nancy Lybrand are the parents of William. I found a Wm. M. Lybrand in the 1860 Census, Darysaw township, Jefferson Co. There six children: Rubin, Catherine John, Redric (sp?), Wm and Joseph. William is my step-father's great grandfather. Researching for my half-sister. Any help would be appreciated William Lybrand SC/Jefferson Co.,AR Author: Dana Smith Date: 21 Jul 2002 11:51 PM GMT Surnames: Lybrand, Cearley, Appling, Johnson Classification: Census Trying to find the parents of William Lybrand born abt 1850 in South Carolina.
