For taking the time, that is. This clears up the early part, but I am still trying to smoothly mesh the lines. It appears that our ancestor, a son of Johann Christian, has dropped off the listings you have developed, which is causing misalignment of info. At your end, as listed: (5) Johann Christian Lybrand Gen. 5 Born Germany 8 Oct 1728. Christian moved to the Hollow Creek area of South Carolina near the present location of Cedar Grove Church Children: 1) Christopher Lybrand (8) Born 1756. 2) John Lybrand (7) Born before 1783, the first event for which there is a recorded date. 3) Henry Lybrand (6) Born before 1799, the first event for which there is a recorded date. 4) Joseph Lybrand was born on (birth date unknown). at my end as listed: Christian Lybrand (b. 8 Oct 1728 (?), d. ) Came over with his father and family on the ship Elizabeth as listed above. 1. Barbara Wessinger other sons and daughters said to be Barnet, Josh, Jack This data I have is on old typed and handwritten notes from the 1940-50 era and the people are no longer alive to clarify or verify, but I can update the correct birth dates from your excellent listing on the earlier detail. When I get some of the detail sorted, (like - could Martin have been a Christopher Martin?) I will send you a 'working copy' of my results, if there is anything of interest there. Once again, thanks.
