4. JOHANN HEINRICH⁴ LEIBBRAND (MATHIAS³, HANS HEINRICH LEUPRANDT² (LEIBBRAND), HANS LEUPRANDT¹ (LEIBBRAND, LYBRAND)) was born 1695 in Kleiningersheim. He married CATHARINA WEISS November 14, 1724 in Germany, daughter of JACOB WEISS.

sailed from germany to united states from Rotterdam Holland December 1752 aboard the ship Elizabeth bound for the port of Charles Town, South Carolina. Christian, Simon, and Maria sailed with him.
Changed the spelling of his name to Johann Hendrick Lybrand.
petitioned for and received land grant for 250 acres on the 20 mile branch of the Saluda River , Lexington District, South Carolina on feb 12, 1755 in the name of Hendrick Lybrand. council journal vol 21 , prt 1, pg. 340
