Dear all namesakes; I am calling digitally from Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia.
Actually I hesitate to post my reaction here, because the time lapse between writing and reacting is quite considerable.
Anyhow, history is never ending and worthwhile sending!
I would suggest all of you to log on to our Family Tree for all the Leibbrandt pedigrees and ignore the variation in the spelling through time.
Hand Leibbrandt in Best - Holland has created a marvellous web-page for us:

Most of the USA Lybrand's etc. are included, but of course, much more can be added.
